Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

In my strictly personal case, there is not a doubt that it is a chronic disorder. My parents sold me into prostitution before I could say the word. Need I say more?
I also suffer acute bouts brought on by messy life events such as my son's death, Corona crowning, etc.
This question is different for everyone. I'm so sorry to hear about what your family did to you that's just not right. Especially family. Someone that you should be able to trust. That just disgusts me. Sorry. And having to lose a son is devasting to me. I have a son and he means the world to me and if anything ever happened to him I wouldn't know what to do. I'm so sorry for your loss a mother should never have to bury their son. My heart goes out to you. Much love and support here from me. Italianmomma4ever
It does depend on the individual. We all have good days and bad days. That's normal to feel. On the bad days it is overwhelming to handle stressful situations. I get it. It happens to all of us. Just do your best and push through it. Baby steps. Thanks for your comment Italianmomma4ever
Best of luck to you in college. That's exciting and knowing you have a friend with you that gives you support and reassurance. Take it slow and ease your way in. You will be fine.
I think it is chronic. I have a whole family of mentally ill people behind me (whether they knew it or not) and I haven't seen someone fully recover from it. The best I have seen is it seems to go into "remission" of sorts...but then when something very stressful comes along it pops its ugly head up again until the person seeks help again. Again--I want to be the one who figures it out!!
You are a funny one. It can be chronic for some people depending on their diagnosis. I also have a family that has anxiety. They know it. There are ways of coping with it . It's manageable but not cureable. I do believe stress, worry don't help it. It's like a vicious cycle. I hope you do figure it out. Let me know. I would love to hear.
Thanks my friend. Italianmomma4ever
I believe it’s a chronic illness. Like it’s been stated before, we all have our good and bad days. I think and this is for me personally, that I have good and bad months and years. I’ve been in “remission” so to speak before, but I definitely have relapses! In fact, I am in a relapse right now. My anxiety, and it’s friend depression have given me a run for my money the last 4 months. I just started therapy this week. I am hoping to make some more progress. I know I’ll always have anxiety and depression in my life, the key for me is to not let them drive the car!
It's nice to meet you. I'm glad that you are taking the steps on getting it under control. It's no fun living like that. I hope you get some relief from therapy. Unfortunately anxiety and depression aren't curable just manageable. No take those keys away from both of them. Your in the drivers seat. Much luck to you. And thank you for your comment. Definitely life long interaction with different medical conditions affecting and being affected by the changing balance of all the systems. When one goes out of whack, chaos follows.
Thank you for your comment. It makes a lot of sense. Anxiety is manageable but not cureable. I too have anxiety and a lot of my family does too. And we all have lived with it. It sucks!!!! The other illnesses are not so curable. And the that sucks too. It's very frustrating and irritating when you have something that you just have to make the best of it. We're all in it together. Much support to all going through it. Italianmomma4ever
No it's not a one size fits all. It's different for eveyone.
When your body is out of whack it screws up your whole system. Everything seems to go haywire. And that's when the chaos comes. Thanks for your comment. Definitely makes a whole lot of sense. Italianmomma4ever
I sent you a friend request.
