  Hello everyone I am a single male 48 years old and living in a group home.Bipolar has greatly affected my life since I was diagnosed at 27 and I have had some manic episodes.Although for the past two years or so I have been stable on meds and more in a depressive state.I have depression daily and find that it's hard to live with.I also feel alone because I don't have much dure to the impact this illness has had on my life and I fear that I will never find a partner.Is there anyone else who can...

  I have bipolar and have been in a depression for almost a year now although it has gotten a little better I am still never happy and in a depressed state.I've been working in a program 4 hours a day monday to friday for almost two months trying to help myself get better.I want to feel good inside and am so upaet to be in darness all the time.

  Ive been depressed for many months now and things havent changed much i still have thoughts about not wanting to live and am unhappy.I started a part time job cleaning at a mental health center and i do feel a little better at time on days when i work.Its the weekend and im depressed and think of going to the hospital.I have to be at work tomorrow so its not an option but im really not feeling good most of the time and i feel like im the only one going through this.Is there amyone ense put...

  I have bipolar obviously and I recently gave  smoking pot after quitting another substance over three months ago and I recently quit smoking cigarettes. I find that IVe been atruggling with feelings of loneliness and inadequacy since I don't have alot of friends and I am single.Can anyone else here relate?

    I'm finding that the most difficult thing about remaining sober is the loneliness that I have been feeling lately.I'm renting a room in a house with other guys but none of us are really friends and I find it a little strange that none of them seem like they want to talk or even get to know eachother a litttle bit better.  Maybe it's better that way because we probably all don't have very much in common to begin with and as I said this is the thing that I find most difficult about remaining...

  Today is a really important day for me because I'm going shopping with my mother and our relationship has begun to get much better recently. I was in a relationship with a woman who my mother didn't approve of because she was abusive towards me so I feel like I have the opportunity to regain the close relationship with my mom that had been damaged due to the relationship that I was in.
