  I wrote this as a journal, because I couldn't find the new post button earlier.  Found it now!!  I'm still new to this.  I went to the beach and celebrated my one year no contact.  I bought a small token (like AA). I have never been to AA, but it seemed appropriate.   When I talk about my past even to my closest friends there is a disconnect.  They don't really hear,  or can't relate to what I am saying when I talk about my family.  I have been no contact with my mom, who I beleive is a sociopath(Ibeleive she was involved in a crime when I was younger), for a year now.  Things in my life are better, and I don't really miss her, which makes me sad.  I want to miss her, but I don't.  I can feel her rage at me, even though we haven't spoken.
