  i finally got a letter from A!! I cannot tell you how much joy and relief it brought me, but it always brought me a lot of fear too...He’s ok though, I mean as best as he can be given the situation, he’s not in trouble thankfully but things have changed, now there’s talk of shipping him somewhere else, and there’s all these new rules about how you can write a letter now. No more colored pens or perfumed letters...all the little things I did for him that made him happy have been taken...

  Hello everyone,I am currently in a LDR—I live in the Southwest and he lives in the South, and have been together for almost a year come April. To say that it is hard is an understatement, it’s very challenging and sometimes time consuming and exhausting, but totally worth it. I think my biggest challenge is trying to balance it all. Working, and going to school full time, making time for him and making sure he doesn’t feel neglected and still having time for a social life as well. My LDR...
