Hello, I am a new high schooler, and it’s been tough fitting in, especially because of my diagnosed depression and anxiety. I, in fact, started medication for that today. However, it makes it harder because of my low self-esteem associated with my excoriation. If you don’t know, excoriation is an OCD disorder where one picks at their own skin using anything from their fingers to blades until it bleeds. If you've read my last post in this support group, you'd find all of the drama my ex boyfriend has put me through. He cheated on me, ignored me, spread rumors... the list is endless. But I'm happy to say that he came back to me! We're in an even stronger relationship than before and couldn't be happier. Please don't give up on your love life. You WILL find someone who is deserving of you. It just takes time, and it may seem like the unlikeliest of people. But it will come!
