  I am 16 and my doctor thinks I have Addison's disease.  He is starting me on fludrocortisone to help me retain sodium.  I am passing out too frequently so I am really hoping this works.  Has anyone else been on this med and how well did it work for you?

  Hi my name is Mack and I'm just gonna post a little bit of my story surrounding my Eating Disorder.  Starting from the age of 11 I started restrictions my eating.  I realized that I couldn't dance properly after eating a meal, so on days that I had dance I would skip food that day.  When I was in grade 7 and 8, I was scared of eating in front of people, so I would throw out my lunches and tell everyone I ate breakfast and dinner everyday to avoid me questioned.  (This was a lie, I rarely...

  Finding treatment

  I find it difficult to properly find treatment and I don't know yet if I'm fully ready.  I'm trying to decide whether outpatient, day treatment or residential would be best for me.  I don't wanna go into detail about my struggles as I don't want to trigger anyone, but I thought I would join this group as a first step to re-engaging in eating disorder support
