I grew up in a family where my father was verbally and physically abusive towards me (not my mum or my sister...) My mum was cold and emotionally abusive. I was groomed and sexually abused by a 36 year old man when I was 13 years old, and also later on in my teens. I have had eating disorders since I was 14, I am coping but have the tendency not to eat if I am going through emotional stress. I have been in a number of mentally and emotionally abusive relationships; this seems to be my pattern and I am here to learn to break this. I am married and my husband puzzles me as he was great to start off with but occasionally he is emotionally abusive. I am trying to learn more about myself, PDs (a lot of my exes had one or the other...) and learn to love and appreciate myself, so I am happy.
