  We recently went through a bout of unemployment at our house. Now my husband is working again and I am terrified about going through it again. I keep bugging him for signs all is ok.....he's only been there two weeks. He is guarded about asking for feedback too much for fear of being labeled high maintainance (he overheard someone call him that first day). But he also needs more communication since they have only given him a few things to do and he is in a holding pattern while things ramp up....

  My husband started a new job two weeks ago.  Before he started, I was having panic attacks. He had been laid off for ten weeks. Now I'm fearful of that happening again. He is insisting I am irrational and that he's doing fine--even if he doesn't get emails daily from his new bosses (in fact, he overheard one on a conference call say he talks too much--didn't realize he was there--that was the first day so he's been overly cautious in asking a lot of questions since), that he won't get tons of...

  My husband started a new job two weeks ago. I am a nervous wreck. He was laid off from another job in November, right before Thanksgiving. Took him 10 weeks to find this job. This job is exactly what he had before, though they started him on a project first.Anyway, I'm apparently driving him nuts asking to know if he's getting any good feedback, etc. I'm an ANXIOUS WRECK about him doing well in this job. He works remote. He was told they would gear him up slowly. He did on a conference...
