  Can mania present itself in the form of extreme anger? I always thought it was the opposite, happiness and thinking you're invincible and having delusions that you've done things you may have not, etc. My dad tends to get very very abusive and angry almost beyond control. Does this happen to anyone?

  Hi All, I need some advice. I am 30 years old and my father is bipolar. He most likely has personality disorder as well. His moods are so bad that he often verbally abuses me and tends to "push, pull" with me and one minute begs me to answer the phone and demands my support, but then the next minute pushes me away and claims I am against him and don't care about him.   Hi everyone, Excited to be a part of this group and talk to people that can relate to anxiety and how it feels to suffer from it. I had my first panic attack in 2009 - typical symptoms heart racing, sweating, thought I was going to die etc. I was 22/23 at the time and at my first job post college - turns out it wasn't right for me at all and was a huge cause of stress.
