I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting back.
Walking greatly improves my mental health too. I'm feeling less irritable and depressed after walking.
I want this to be a support thread for people who exercise and eat healthy so if you do any of that post here!

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

I walked 2 miles tonight.
I walked 2 miles.
I walked 2.8 miles to my mom's house. She fell and sprained her ankle yesterday so I have to take a cab home. I have a lot of social anxiety about cabs.
Glad I got a few walks in during the past week to get ready for today. Today my walk number 5 out of 10 got to be on the National Mall in DC. Beautiful day; got a good walk in and lots of selfies, too.
Hope your mom's ankle mends quickly, my friend.
I walked 2 miles tonight. I'm sleeping in 4-5 hour blocks.
As for sleep, I sleep in 4 hour blocks on a good night. Prazosin helps.
I'm on a cane, so last time I missed work for sick days my boss over reacted and sent a disability officer to challenge me about whether I could do my job or had to go on disability. That's why I haven't taken a sick day in years now. I'm sick now for real, no doubt about it, and working sick. Taking a sick day would give me a chance to get well. Not taking a sick day would make my illness drag on.
Don't know now long to do this. I'll have to decide over the weekend one way or another. I wish I had a boss who didn't over react at illness.
I came home sick from work to find a letter in my mailbox from work suggesting I take early retirement. They sent it to all the older workers like me. It wasn't encouragement in these circumstances.
I walked 1.5-2 miles tonight.
Then I'll be able to keep up those walks. You're doing great with your walking record lately. It's an inspiration!
