I hiked 2 miles, roughly.
I still managed to wander around and identify the 4 machines myself that my physical therapist had taught me to seek out in transitioning from the hospital's physical therapy machines to the gym. I used them, and got out as fast as I could. I'm hoping to muster the wherewithal to go back today and start to establish a routine. It is not a friendly place to me.
I walked 2 miles.
Wish me luck with the gymtimidation. It's a pretty real thing there, in spite of all the signs posted on the walls against it. Not a lot of people in there who look like me.
I walked a mile.
While at the gym I worked the same machines I'd worked until last week, and then added one on my new trainer's advice. I rode the bike machine twice. It's all meant to help my neuropathy pain and the back pain I have from a herniated disk, and it does.
I started out in lots of pain, which always makes me wonder if I should go to the gym at all. But I walked out in less pain. That's a big relief since kidney disease keeps me from even taking aspirin for pain.
So glad you walked another mile today!!
walked 2 miles, having wrist problems again so can't type much. Getting new setup for computer to help.
