My 8 year old nephew killed by drunk driverr
oleblue
Hi everyone,
I was awakend at 4am this morning that my 8 year old nephew was killed in a car accident at 11:30 Saturday night and they are not sure his 10 year old brother is going to make it.
The family was t-boned by a drunken driver and it caused there van to roll over and land on its roof. All 3 kids were asleep at the time so he never suffer'd as it was instant for him. My sister inlaw broke her ankle and the one that is hospitalized has many broken ribs and internal damage.
Of course the drunk had minor injuries and lucky for her MI just increased the penalty for drunk driving and she will go to a state prison.
I would like those who pray to pray for the family and especially for Caleb as he lies in the hospital clinging on to life.
This really tears me up as years ago I lost 2 nephews and a brother inlaw on Christmas eve in an auto accident. I also was hit by a drunken driver in 97 and have problems from it to this day and that is what got me my first MRI and the words MS.
The stress of this and the fever I've been battling is bringing on the MS symptoms hard and fast and all I can do is to pray and pray hard. I hope that many of you will join me in prayer for Caleb that he pulls through and for some inner peace for the rest of the family as his Dad has not been able to stop crying as those boys meant the world to him

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

Caleb started on a machine to help him breathe better, it exercises his lungs, he's doing good on one but not the other so much. and they predict he will be out within a week. The funeral for his brother is trying to be held up till Caleb is able to attend the final goodbye of his little brother.
The police still have'nt filed charges yet and have'nt released any info on the lady but the news station has. The news station finally cleaned up a lot of rumors about her driving record, hard to believe but only a speeding ticket, It has been hard to seperate fact and rumors.
I will struggle with forgiveness as the rest of the family will, I know what God expects and if I don't do what he expects than how can I ask for help? I just hate this and please feel free to pm with guidance on how to deal with this, I've always been a forgiving person but how when it includes death? I guess I will deal with later as there are more important things to do now.
Lisadearlisa yes there was a account set up at a local bank to help out the family with the expense's and thanks for all of the pastors you enlisted to pray.
I don't know what I would do without all of you and I will share this website with them so they can see all of the support and prayers they had as they could'nt believe so many people like alexena from Aus. another country who don't know them are there for the family.
I will update if anything changes
Thank You and God Bless you all
