Hi everyone,
I was awakend at 4am this morning that my 8 year old nephew was killed in a car accident at 11:30 Saturday night and they are not sure his 10 year old brother is going to make it.
The family was t-boned by a drunken driver and it caused there van to roll over and land on its roof. All 3 kids were asleep at the time so he never suffer'd as it was instant for him. My sister inlaw broke her ankle and the one that is hospitalized has many broken ribs and internal damage.
Of course the drunk had minor injuries and lucky for her MI just increased the penalty for drunk driving and she will go to a state prison.
I would like those who pray to pray for the family and especially for Caleb as he lies in the hospital clinging on to life.
This really tears me up as years ago I lost 2 nephews and a brother inlaw on Christmas eve in an auto accident. I also was hit by a drunken driver in 97 and have problems from it to this day and that is what got me my first MRI and the words MS.
The stress of this and the fever I've been battling is bringing on the MS symptoms hard and fast and all I can do is to pray and pray hard. I hope that many of you will join me in prayer for Caleb that he pulls through and for some inner peace for the rest of the family as his Dad has not been able to stop crying as those boys meant the world to him

Just a short update, Caleb was taken out of the Critical Care Unit last night and was moved to a normal room. They brought in his little brother Dylan and they explained to them that their brother had died in the accident, I'm not sure that they quite understand yet because when he see's someone new he just says " hey did you know Brody is dead" and it's like he don't understand his brother is'nt coming home. It's just heartbreaking. Hopefully he will be released this coming Monday or Tuesday. Once again We can't Thank Everyone enough for the Prayers and Support that has been shown here and the ongoing Prayers and Support that Everyone here Continues to Give. It gives the name Family a real meaning and you don't need to be related to be Family

Thank you for the up-date on Caleb. I am in tears I still can't bear that your family is going through this. My heart grieves for all involved. I will continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
