Hi everyone,
I was awakend at 4am this morning that my 8 year old nephew was killed in a car accident at 11:30 Saturday night and they are not sure his 10 year old brother is going to make it.
The family was t-boned by a drunken driver and it caused there van to roll over and land on its roof. All 3 kids were asleep at the time so he never suffer'd as it was instant for him. My sister inlaw broke her ankle and the one that is hospitalized has many broken ribs and internal damage.
Of course the drunk had minor injuries and lucky for her MI just increased the penalty for drunk driving and she will go to a state prison.
I would like those who pray to pray for the family and especially for Caleb as he lies in the hospital clinging on to life.
This really tears me up as years ago I lost 2 nephews and a brother inlaw on Christmas eve in an auto accident. I also was hit by a drunken driver in 97 and have problems from it to this day and that is what got me my first MRI and the words MS.
The stress of this and the fever I've been battling is bringing on the MS symptoms hard and fast and all I can do is to pray and pray hard. I hope that many of you will join me in prayer for Caleb that he pulls through and for some inner peace for the rest of the family as his Dad has not been able to stop crying as those boys meant the world to him

Thinking about your MS, do you think your doctor would give you a prednisone pack? It would hopefully calm down the activity that is going on inside your body. I wish you the best--keep the Faith.

As others have said, make sure you look after yourself too, both now & in the future as you dont want a flare up now too.

Sorry, I'm just outraged by senseless tragedies such as this. My prayers have already been sent out after reading this. I pray for you and your family, and especially for little Caleb.
I am in tears for what has happened to you and your wonderful family. I have put Caleb on my prayer list and have him in my prayers as I type. God can bring him through. I will pray for your brother's broken heart. I will pray for the Lord to comfort all the broken hearts as a result of this accident. It is so (no words fit here) wrong. I am so angry I want to scream!
I am glad the perpetrator will be going up the river in state prison. I have family in Grand Rapids. My aunt that just flew back there just yesterday. I am glad the laws have changed there.

I am also praying that you find the strength that you need to come up out of your relapse, and that it passes quickly.
I'm praying for these things and so much more. Your story is so sad; it breaks my heart.

Thank you for all the prayers and kind comments, I believe in my heart that prayers worked as he was upgraded to serious and has 9 broken ribs and he will be staying at our Betty DeVoss Childrens hospital which is top notch for children.
His mom is to be released this morning and now is faced with arrangeing Brody's funeral. His mom wants a brainy the smurf for him and I've been desperately trying to find who sells one, I thought that would be easy but wrong, it's not been easy and I will find one somehow somewhere.
The selfish "b" that killed him just came from a place called Harvard Bar, just a mile away, the place is a dump as its been for years, I was there years ago and it is the kind of place that the rif raff of society goes, just a filthy dump to go and get drunk and they don't know the meaning of your Cut Off because your Visibly Drunk, sorry for the rant but you all can understand.
The family was living paycheck to paycheck and now also have the stress of finding a way to pay for the funeral expense, Personaly I think the law should be changed that if you are responsable for someones death you or your insurance should be made to cover this and am surprised the insurance companys don't have a policy that could be added for this or for any kind of auto related death,
