Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym after work. I am disappointed for several reasons. On rainy days, the elementary kids stay in for recess but two little guys prefer to draw. Last week, a third boy joined them. They are so nice to one another. They use my desk and I just walk/stand for about 25 minutes. Another reason is that I told a student about the free summer pass at Planet Fitness for the summer. She never talks to me or looks at me. She was very excited and thanked me for telling her so I am curious if she signed up. And of course, I feel bad that the school secretary has to find coverage for me. The only good part is that I have sick days and won't be spending $15 in gas.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
When we love someone who is slowly dying or is alive but gone from our lives, it can be what is called ambiguous grief. We humans tend to start grieving before the person passes because we love them so deeply. And it is confusing to start this early grief, they are alive but the relationship has changed because they have changed. And no one says it is okay to grieve early instead they say don't feel that way or she is not gone yet. Go ahead and tell yourself your anticipatory grief is normal and okay. Just means you love deeply.
But crying is our bodies way of releasing stress when it builds up too much. It’s like a tea kettle that has come to a full boil The steam must get released. So overall crying is good and necessary.
I’m sorry about your aunt not doing so well and I hope you will be ok and feel better and be ok to go to the job you enjoy
.She really has nothing to live for. She is bedridden and can't use a phone and gets very little company. Her daughter is calling a meeting but I don't want to miss any more work. I already know what my part will be and that is to visit more often. I won't be able to do that until I'm on summer break. Next weekend, my youngest brother is moving so I will be helping them for a good part of the weekend. I am off this Tuesday for election day. I have a therapist appointment and I am waiting to hear back from my handyman about my front door that will not lock since yesterday. I'm sorry that you can't get back to your normal routine. That can be so frustrating.
