Day 6 - Working to be more humble and not arrogant.
I'm coming back to the group because I need help. It sounds selfish, and suppose that it is. I say that I know the things I have to do in order to live an honest life. But I've lied for so long, I'm not even sure who I am (other than a liar), or how to tell the truth right in the moment. Lying for me is really just a reflex to try staying out of trouble. The truth (!) is that lying causes more trouble for me and the people around me than telling the truth ever would. I do know that I'm being immature and not accepting responsibility for my own actions. Yet, here I am doing the same immature and dishonest things time after time. I say I want to change, but my actions don't match. The life I've created for myself pretty much sucks - and since I don't do anything differently, it will continue to suck. But I don't want a life of suckage. Seems I lack the courage to change, or I'm just not willing to work that hard.
The words above are the most honest thing I've done today. Maybe I can parlay this into something better.

Day 8 - Working to be more humble and not arrogant.
Her answer was I have no proof, but I know I was telling the truth and I am proud of that.
It does become easier!!
