Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

PS I AM 3333 wow this has grown!
I worked more than my body could handle yesterday and was paying for it before I had even finished. I can't believe I agreed to do a color client at 8:30 this morning...ugghhhh!
Wishing everyone many bright spots throughout the weekend!

My doc has done it to me again...decided she's weaning me off all pain meds! Pain managment started for me in '07 after a MRI finally showed the reason for my increasing pain. My current doc has continued to prescribe meds for the past 4-5 years and is being a moody witch lately. My therapist is livid about the way she's handling things, but there isn't a thing I can do besides suffer.
I just spoke with the Pharmacist on duty when I picked up BP meds that my doc phoned in for withdrawals. She said I really needed to talk to my doc about going more slowly. The problem is...I've tried! She said your doc is responsible for your care and if she won't listen and it gets too bad, go to the ER.
I'd rather pour hot tar in my nostrils than go there.
I made the cookies yesterday while I still could.
