e4now, it will take a while for the cortisone to help. Inflamation = pain, and cortisone is industrial strength anti-imflamitory. If your pain is coming from inflamation, it should help. Fingers crossed for you.

I have trouble sleeping anyway.....but this time change is really messing with me! I've been up since 1:00. More than 2 1/2 hours later. I'm still wide awake.

At some point I'll probably crash and it will be when I need to be getting up. Sigh...

Took BOTH of my sons to dinner tonight. #1 son and his lovely wife came in from AL, 8-1/2 hours' drive away. #2 son and his lovely lady live here in town, and we made a night of it. I had to be back to tape Survivor at 8. I've taped every season except one and two. Just can't break the habit. LOL

hi everyone..pain is off the charts but i will carry on..at least thats what i keep telling myself :-} i hope for peace between us all and low stress and lower pain levels..(((hugs)))

Depression is starting to roar within my head. I'm on medication for it, but nothing works completely.

I hurt, I feel sick and I'm so dizzy. Next week I'll be seeing a new Rheumatologist. It feels like she's my last shot at figuring out what's going on.

Hi to all, It has been ages since I have greeted you. My world has literally been a roller coaster of late. I have not been free of serious health issues for a breath. At times I have been overwhelmed. I have missed all of you. But the nursing homes I was in did not have the Internet. And I have been in a constant seizure fog so I had difficulty writing for quite awhile.

The good news is that I now live in an assisted living facility. I am close to family and friends. Plus, I am near a church I enjoy greatly. And my Nurologist fitted me with a special pair of ear plugs that enable me to hear conversations, but block out the high frequency sounds that cause my seizures. These ear plugs are a real miricle for me.

I am glad to be back with you. I know I have missed much. I look forward to catching up. Love & Hugs, Cathy
