"She was already banging someone else I didnt know about. OUR daughters boyfriends dad!!"
Oh my goodness...talk about crass. I mean she couldn't even look far flung to bang a person, she had to go where her own daughter went i.e. same family. Lord Almighty
Now the son and dad can compare notes on who is better, mom or daughter (not funny I know). Some women just don't have any shame, and that little tingling between their legs will make them do dumb things.
Why anyone who has been married before and seen things, will ever want to get married again, is beyond me. It's obvious that only 1 party has more to gain than lose.
There were so many conditions and rules: Never initiate - always wait for her to initiate (anything from a visit, dinner invite, sex...), don't ride a bicycle within so many feet of her bike, never ask her about commitment or fidelity, if I invite her to a concert, and she invites her daughters too, I pay for all, and if she decides she doesn't want my company all of a sudden, she needs alone time with her girls so I eat my ticket and they all go without me... She can take ALL of her vacation time to stay with Neil in FL, but I can never mention him, never try to hug me or touch me if I am in the kitchen or on the computer - in fact, add that to the "let me initiate" rule... And on and on. I could never be perfect enough not to violate some rule that I mostly didn't even know about until that moment.
Add to that all of the "I was going to, but you..." It was a favorite. I was actually going to make love with you tonight, but you asked and you know you are supposed to let me initiate. I was going to go to dinner with you, but you (fill in the blank with mostly absurd things)...
I'm starting to see how pathetic I became, and how I was used - intentionally or not. I'm not angry as I rarely get mad, but I'm waking up anyway. Today is a milestone. I miss her and lover her, but I don't want her back! I believe I deserve a little respect and to be treated better.
Again, I hope it is different for you, but be careful of your heartstrings, it is so easy to for her to tug them.
"I was actually so happy that she "let me" clean out her gutters for her, and she "let me" get her Christmas tree and put it up for her (even though she was in FL with her guy)"......the irony in this comment by you, only that it was someone else that was actually cleaning her gutter. Sorry I just had to go there
Then this " Mowing her lawn for her while she was on "vacation" with Neil. "......
"I'm starting to see how pathetic I became, and how I was used - intentionally or not. I'm not angry as I rarely get mad, but I'm waking up anyway."....well, now we are getting somewhere.
"but I don't want her back! I believe I deserve a little respect and to be treated better. ".....bloody hell, finally those magic words :-)
Kids need to be in school if there isn't any health concerns keeping them from interacting with other kids....last thing you want is socially awkward kids. Furthermore, no adult should be depending on another person financially, it's what kids do not adults. A lot of people wonder why they end up being denied money..it's like getting handout of the Govt, they can control it as they see fit.
I also feel that seperation although hard is the easy road. Im not saying its a bad thing you took this path, but it is essentially running from the issues rather then dealing with them. Dealing with them would mean looking deep within yourself and your husband, acknowledging your own faults and working on them. Thats the hard work, but it takes two willing people to achieve that. Right now my wife doesn't seem to willing. I wish you all the luck in the world what ever path you take. Let me know how things go for you, id love to hear a success story one way or the other.
You are acting like a teenager now giddy meeting for a date. The future holds nothing for you and her, and once she gets what she wants, you are going to be tossed aside.
I should haven't to explain myself to you, but im not signing this loan hoping she will want me back... I am signing it because together or not i do wish her happines... The loan amount is small, and will not destroy me finacially, im not a complete idiot. Im not giddie about lunch, im nervous as it will be hard for me to control my emotions. I love and trust her, and this whole thing is a different level then you may ever understand.
