And Heave, I volunteer at the rape crisis center - so, yes, I do see what happens in dark alleys. My two best friends have been cops almost as long as you've been alive. And neither they, the satistics, or the prison populations will try to argue that women are nearly as involved in sexually motivated crimes, child pornography, or violent crimes as men. And the fact that you are a cop and trying to suggest anything different scares the hell out of me.
Guess girls could form a club too - but then all the guys would be running around without their hands. huh?
Futhermore, the crime that is reported the most and found to be unfounded is rape. Yes I said it. There are real victims of rape out there but there is a very large statisic of women who make false reports of rape. The motovations are different when the do it (some do it to hide an affair from their boyfriends/spouses, others to it for attention, and some others have diffent reasons).
You should know this if you volunteer at a rape crisis center. Then again, you only hear one side of the story and not the full story. I talk to the victim and the suspect. I have interviewed sex offenders and heard the details of their crimes, the reasons for their actions.
Yes I am a cop...I know what is really going on out there. I see on a day to day basis the truth behind the scenes. I have been doing this for quite some times and the job changes all of the time. The crimes change and the crime rates change. Having friends who are cops doesn't mean that you know the ins and outs of their jobs...they will never tell you the totality of what they do on a day to day basis because some things can't be said.
And women DO NOT commit sex crimes "all the time." In the safety classes the cops here give, they tell women that the SAFEST person for a lost child to go to is either a women with children of a WOMEN in uniform. Even MEN in uniform aren't as safe. Because that is the fact, like it or not.
And men that are victims of rape are almost always raped by other MEN.

I am not saying that all rape victims are liars..but the statics say that a big proportion of reported rapes are false reports. I have taken a lot of reports of rape in my years of work and only a few have actually been founded. Yes...rapes do happen but it is far more likely that a sex crime like incest is reported and the crime actually happened.
Where did I say that Women commit sex crimes all of the time? I didn't...Don't put words in my mouth. I am saying that there is a dark figure of crime out there from non reported cases of sexual abuse by women. I said that men do commit the most sex crimes but there is a growing number of women sex offenders. This number will continue to grow.
Another thing that I will throw the BULLSHIT flag on is that you saying that men in uniforms aren't always safe. We take an oath and most of us take this oath pretty damn serious. The numbers of corruption are so low in law enforcement it is staggering, it is just that we live in a fishbowl so when corruption does occur then it is very publicized. Furthermore, the statics for corruption is the same for both male and female officers. I don't know where you get your statics from or your information but it sounds like you might be using the National Enquirer as a resource.

As a woman I really take offense to your comments about women and rape. While there are some women who make false allegations, there are a majority of women who are really raped and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, not like a piece of lying garbage. It's bad enough for a woman to experience such an awful, horrendous crime but it make it 100 times worse when the cops who investigate it treat her like she deserves it or don't take the crime seriously.
