Beating Trich Community Group
You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

Hi, My name is Sam and I'm new to this group. I am 23 and have had trich since I was 12. Over the years I have tried many times to stop, however it's only this past year that I have started to research ways of stopping, and have been really determined to do it. I plan on doing so with a combination of understanding, will-power, exercise, trying the John Kender diet, and seeing a therapist. I love designing, illustrating, cooking, extreme sports, exercising, seeing live music and reading. I would love to provide others with encouragement, and maybe get some support when I fall.

Yep, the stickers are such a great motivator. I think I like them even more than I like the rewards.
Ok well I had a tough day after I got my last sticker, and didn't have any barriers handy. I tried so hard but things got very stressful and I slipped. Tues and Wed I aimed and aimed but didn't use barriers and was not pf or ppf. Today I went for a big walk and got motivated and put on my barriers. Exercise really helps.
