Since we usually have more thank one ailment or sometimes our ailment doesn't attract enough members to an forum thread-please feel free to post your open ailment discussions here.
On the main forum sometimes members do a check in thread-so instead of coming here to find nothing new has been added-I will have this thread so we can atleast say"we were here" and we left our little foot prints or cane prints...just don't leave any cat or dog droppings please-might begin smelling up the place!

Happy New Year! I'm in another asthma flare from another horrible cold! It seems to want to settle in my chest. I hope I won't end up on prednisone again! This is the worst time of year for my asthma. I hope you are well!*hugs*

This cold has settled in my chest and I get worse by the day. I'm going to have to find some way to see a doctor.

I saw my family doctor and she said no prednisone unless my peak flows go down again. No antibiotic unless I get a fever.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. DOes over the counter robintussin DM help you any?

Thank you. I only use expectorant syrup. I use sugar free cough drops before bed. I think this cold may finally be gone.*fingers crossed*It's my sinuses and ears bothering me due to the weather. Also my period making my stomach awful. I hope you're well. :)

The cold and I don't like each other either. Right now the windchill is -15F. It's supposed to be even colder overnight. I'm avoiding it today.

Yes, we can get snow when it's that cold. We have a lot of snow on the ground. You can have it all.

I'm upset with my endocrinologist because he and the ENT now think that I may not need parathyroid surgery! Hyperparathyroidism has only been destroying my body for many years. He wants to check parathyroid hormone level again at the end of February and then I have to wait until March 17th when he comes down here again. I really don't trust doctors! He said :"Let's get you cured!" and now he's going back on what he said!
