All your ailments can come here Community Group
Since we usually have more thank one ailment or sometimes our ailment doesn't attract enough members to an forum thread-please feel free to post your open ailment discussions here.

On the main forum sometimes members do a check in thread-so instead of coming here to find nothing new has been added-I will have this thread so we can atleast say"we were here" and we left our little foot prints or cane prints...just don't leave any cat or dog droppings please-might begin smelling up the place!

Yes I do but I'm used to waiting for results. Wish my stomach would let up for once. I feel like my GI is convinced it's IBS and thus refuses to think of any other possibility.

drs get that-a mind like a steel trap :( Just gotta keep on them to try others possibilities

He won't see me until December 22nd. I've called in the past and he's told me to see my family doctor or go to the ER.

If you can-find someone new!!

There are only two GI's here and the other one works in the same office as my GI. Referral letters are mailed which takes a long time because the mail is sorted an hour and a half away and then sent back here. It can take two weeks for the doctor to get the letter and then they triage you like they do in the ER. If they think it's not important to see me right away I could be waiting a year to be seen! It's better to keep this doctor.

I found out that my cancer is still in remission after 2 years which is wonderful! Now if I could get my digestive issues sorted that would be even better.

GREAT to hear about the cancer

Thanks. :) I wish they had done the chest ct as part of my scans. I think my family doctor didn't order it because I had had chest x-rays this year.

My colon cancer tumor didn't have the features of Lynch Syndrome so I don't that have. Two months or more for the blood testing results. I'm glad they are being thorough. Stomach is acting up really badly.

but I didn't feed you anything-so you can't blame my cooking :(

I still think it's more than IBS. I developed another food allergy. A severe allergy to bell peppers, specifically red bell peppers. The first two reactions were like I feel when my asthma was flaring. My inhaler stopped them. The third reaction caused my face, lips and throat to swell. My allergist is 30 minutes away and I don't have a vehicle. It's over $50 round trip every time I go there and the allergy testing supplies aren't covered by insurance. I've already had skin allergy testing done in the past. I will avoid all colors of bell peppers from now on.
