Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.

You deserve all of this. It is a payback for your incredibly reassuring personality and your overall goodness.
I am so happy. You can start putting all of the bad things behind you.
For those recently post-transplant, Julie's counts are typical of how the new marrow gets used to new surroundings. The counts can remain low in some fashion for a while, but then slowly return to the normal range. This should reassure the newly transplanted patients that this is what happens. Relax.

Dave Brown,
You are the reason I found this site. I look forward to your Bible devotional s at Bible Thought.net. you are one of the people I'm paying it forward for. I reached out to you via email, right after dx in shear fear and panic. You calmed me, prayed for me, checked on me and told me Good had a plan for me.
During this same time, while receiving induction, one of my oncologist asked to pray with mange after she saw me reading my Bible. She prayed that regardless of the final outcome, that God allow positive to come from my dx. I clung to these two events, your reassurances and Dr Konapa,'s prayers.
God bless you
Julie
