  I started taking Zoloft 4 evenings ago. I absolutely hate the way it makes me feel (racing thoughts, can't pay attention, depressed, emotionallu numb, etc.). I've taken SSRIs in the past that much more effective. However, Zoloft was my only option because I am breastfeeding. I called my doctor's nurse yesterday and she said I do not need to taper since I took it for such a short amount of time. However, when I tried to skip the 4th dose last night, my heart began racing, so I took the 4th dose...

  Hello everyone. I started taking Zoloft tonight. I have tried Prozac and other meds in the past (the Prozac did wonders but I cannot take while breastfeeding). I know that medication makes anxiety worse before better, at least it did for me. Any good ways of how to cope during that process? Please no horror stories about Zoloft, I worry enough as it is! If it worked for any of you though, I'd love to hear about it! How long it took to feel at ease, etc. Thanks!
