  After having a pe, I will be retested for lupus anticoagulant in a few months. Ive been on eliquis since it happened, and I'm worried that if I do have aps that eliquis won't work?? Does anyone here take any of the newer bloodthinners?Thanks for your help.

  So...  As of November 1, I have been off of my Eliquis.  My sister treated me to dinner and a rather large Bloody Mary, lol... At any rate, I am nervous to be off of the anticoagulant, but not as much as I had thought I would be.  My schoolwork has truly been awesome in that respect.  I have a goal, which really helps.I've been working as a student nurse/home health aide on weekends, etc.  The work is both challenging and interesting, and I love being able to help people in their journey...
