  Anyone take Xanax?

  I have always taken it for anxiety but ever since my RA diagnoses I seem to need it more for stress and anxiety. I really start to wig out to the point my whole body vibrates from nerves. Since I am not officially in any RA meds yet does anyone take Xanax as well as RA meds?

  Three weeks ago I seen my PCP and she was shocked my Rheumy did not give me any pain medication. So she wanted to start me on something on the "low pain list" and move up if needed. She prescribed Tramadol 3 50 MG a day. Fine. I've never been on Tramadol so I said let's try it. It's all the background pain that's annoying.   Last Tuesday skipped my injection due to Colonoscopy on Wednesday. I do them on Tuesday's and NO WAY was I going to deal with feeling awful as well that day.Did my shot today and already anticipating tha crappy feeling later this eveing and all day tomorrow.I am FED UP over feeling like this every week and it's leading to depression and I won't even go into stress. I'm tired of being judged by my family as lazy, sick blah blah blah. Did I ask for RA? No, none of us did. I am still me! ME ME...

  Instead of two posts I figured it was easier for everyone to respnd to one. In case you have one or the other's experience. First....Depression. Do you deal with it? I've never been depressed except once in my life when I was 21 or so, had no job, had to move back in with Mom and was not chosen as a Bridesmaid in a close friends wedding but my BF was who had known the bride much shorter than I was.   I know there are many articles about how weather affects RA. Some doctors think it's hooey and other doctors who have been doing the RA thing for years believe it because they listen to their patients. When all these patients say I hurt when it's cooler in the morning, you'd think they'd have a clue. No one knows the science behind it. I live in Southern California where the weather is beautiful 365 a year but taxes suck! lol. I live in the high desert. Last couple of weeks I been feeling it...
