  Hello all,I was just curious as to what you experienced when you chose your donor. We picked one that we like the best out of the ones we can choose from. We haven't set it in stone yet. I thought that I would feel like "she's the one!" I just kind of feel like ok, this one will do. Does that make any sense? Don't get me wrong she is a perfect fit with my characteristics and her essay was touching, I guess I just expected to feel more of a connection. Any thoughts/experiences you can share...

  Yvonne thank you! It has been a whirlwind of a week but the twins are amazing and we are so in love. I was actually thinking I can't leave my blog so I ended the way I did. I haven't written since I found out I was pregnant but I plan on sharing our story

  I can't believe I'm about to write this as I vowed to never be this person on this site, but this is pregnancy related and I have skipped about a thousand of these posts in my 3 years of being on this site.I am 9 weeks today and just had my last ultrasound with shady grove fertility!!!!!!!! It is still SO surreal. We got to see the babies feet moving, hear their heartbeats at 171 and 172, saw the umbilical cord (what?! there is seriously an umbilical cord already??) and got to hear the blood...

  So far so good! I have my last ultrasound with my RE tomorrow and I graduate! I'll be 9 weeks. It's still so shocking! I plan on updating tomorrow. :). How are you feeling?? When are you due again?

  This two week wait was another rough one. I almost fully convinced myself that this ultrasound was going to show an empty sac just like it did the last time I was pregnant....2 years ago. I had some spotting and didn't feel like my boobs felt nearly as swollen. I have had food aversions, but have been blaming most of my symptoms on the meds I'm taking.My heart was pounding while we were waiting for the doctor to come in.   2386!! So doubled in my book! I can't believe they aren't having me come in one more time for blood work but they're not. I'm a little disappointed. When I miscarried 2 years ago I did 3 betas. I guess it's a good sign that they feel like I'm progressing well. Ultrasound is scheduled for 9/26! Another 2 week wait!!! I seriously don't know how I will survive another 2 weeks.   I was hoping that my beta would be at least 300.....and it was 1241!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I started crying in the middle of TJ Maxx when I got the call!! My nurse usually doesn't call until later in the day, but she said she just had to call me as soon as she saw the result come in. Ahhhhh is this really happening??
