Graduation
I can't believe I'm about to write this as I vowed to never be this person on this site, but this is pregnancy related and I have skipped about a thousand of these posts in my 3 years of being on this site.
I am 9 weeks today and just had my last ultrasound with shady grove fertility!!!!!!!! It is still SO surreal. We got to see the babies feet moving, hear their heartbeats at 171 and 172, saw the umbilical cord (what?! there is seriously an umbilical cord already??) and got to hear the blood flow through the cord. It was a very emotional and heartfelt goodbye to them. I have spent 3 long years in their care. I woke up at 5am to make them a breakfast casserole and brought them bagels, coffee and juice. I wrote cards for my nurse, the tech who always drew my blood, and of course my doctor. I cried while writing every single one of them and there wasn't a space left in those cards. It was truly a bittersweet moment. I have my first OB apt. next Thursday at 10 weeks. I have watched so many people on here get pregnant and move on. I always wondered if it would ever be me. Will I ever be lucky enough to get pregnant? It still really hasn't set in, but it's starting to get a little more real as the babies grow. I used to hate when people would update about their pregnancies. I get that people are curious and want to know how their doing throughout their pregnancies, but this is an infertility site and I never want to be that person to upset someone who is not in a good place in their journey. I have experienced that countless times. I feel for anyone still struggling. We made many sacrifices to get this far, but I assure you it is worth it. I pray that anyone still trying doesn't give up on their dream and will one day hold their miracle baby. Thank you SO much for the support when I needed it most. Feel free to email me rfuhry@live.comĀ or friend me on facebook Becky Fuhry. Or you can always message me on here and I'll try to peek in now and then. I wish everyone the best of luck!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

I am so so so incredibly happy for you! :) I always felt that after I finally was able to have my DD after 2 IUIs and 5 IVFs that I should stay on this site, to encourage, support and sometimes educate others who are going through what I went through for so long. Don't feel that you have to move on, because I feel like a lot of gals struggling on here need to see that if you don't give up, you can have a happy ending to your story. I'd love to see journals of your pregnancy journey! Best of luck to you!
Becky- this is so incredible. I am thrilled to see your update and that everything is going well. I think about you often and pray that you have a healthy pregnancy. You are an inspiration! I would love to see updates about your pregnancy and how you are doing. From the bottom of my heart, i wish you only the best! You will be a great mom!
I haven't been on DS in forever but happened to get this email update. Oh my gosh two babies! Awe, congrats! I am so happy this finally happening for you!
Well apparently I have 2 DS accounts. The comment above is me.
I have been waiting for this update from you and I'm so happy to read it!!! I would also love to hear updates throughout your pregnancy! I try to stay active on the site to help encourage others to never give up. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy!! Xoxo
This is such great news, Becky!! I've been thinking of you, and I'm so happy to hear the twins are doing well, and you're graduating to your OB! It is a crazy, very surreal feeling! I never liked to post pregnancy updates for the same reason. We can definitely keep in touch since we live so close! Hoping to set up future play dates! Wishing you the best of luck at your first OB appointment! xoxo
Hi Becky! Hope all is going well for you and that your pregnancy has been smooth sailing. I am so happy for you- twins are wonderful:) On October 20th, I ended up having my twin boys at 36 weeks. I had a rough c-section and the boys were in the NICU for a week, but everyone is healthy and happy to be home now. And somehow I now feel a peace that everything has happened exactly as it was supposed to- long infertility road and all... I will definitely be looking you up on FB and we can share tips on raising twins. Cheers to a future with happy and healthy babies! Nikki Fiamengo
