Disappointment

My transfer has been cancelled due to fluids in my endometrium. I'm really sad and disappointed but I'd rather not transfer than waste an embryo that doesn't have a fighting chance to implant. It really sucks though, all the crap we have to go through. This emotional rollercoaster is insane. So now I'm looking at a transfer by the end of July, beginning of August, which seems like a lifetime away. Trying to find the positives, like how I can continue getting in better shape and preparing my body for a healthy pregnancy, but it's not easy when I'm just sad right now.

I am so sorry! That sucks. I am so disappointed for you! You are right, that gives you extra time to get in better shape and it's better to be safe than sorry for the embryo. Still sucks though. Bad. I am sure you are like me and have a mental plan of what the next few months hopefully look like and now that changes. You have a right to be disappointed. Praying for you!

Ugh this really sucks. I remember my very first IVF My progesterone was way too high and we had to freeze our one embryo and wait to do an FET. I was SO disappointed as well. More waiting. It seems that's all we do with IF. I am loving your positives though! You're right this means more time to get yourself ready physically and mentally. Hang in there.

Thanks ladies. I think a lot of my sadness had to do with Mother's day. I was really worried (more so than I realized) that nobody would recognize me as a mom because Max died and it was stressing me out. It turned out to be better than I thought, although it has still been pretty rough. So I guess it was a combination of the disappointment of the cancelled transfer and the anticipation of mother's day which made me really down. I have also physically felt like crap, it's like I have my period but I am only spotting, so that didn't help. Anyways, thanks for the support!!
