About Me
Retired veteran recently diagnosed with Bipolar Type 2 after a lot of frustrating medication changes for Major Depressive Disorder. Still in doubt about diagnosis and trying to deal with it. Looking for others with the illness to talk with and help me either accept or move on from the diagnosis. I have dealt with severe depression for over fifteen years about 8 to 9 months out of the year, as well as severe insomnia and sleep problems I always thought were due to my job. Now I am re-examining my entire life through this new view and seeing severe hypomanic, maybe even manic episodes, but second guessing myself about them. Nice to be here.
