  Made it to the psychiatrist today. She prescribed Paxil. I start tomorrow of 10mg for a few days and then will move to 20mg. I was on it 10 yrs ago after I had my daughter and tapered off at 3 years. I'm a bit nervous about starting it. She said to take a Xanax everyday to help with the fear of starting a new med.   Good Evening,This is my first time seeking help from other people with anxiety. 4 weeks ago, I was about to fall asleep and I jumped up with chest pains and immediately my body went numb. I went to ER and was told it was a panic attack. 1 week later, it happened again as I was about to go to sleep.
