Hi y’all, I’m bipolar 2 and found this sight because sometimes I need an ear and a hug, even if virtual. I’m 41 with 5 children, 1 girl 4 boys (twins at the end). I want to just say what I think, do what I feel, and stop pretending I'm fine. I'm rapid cycling today, and I'm exhausted. I'm frustrated, but worst of all I'm getting worse. It's hard to tell your kids that you're fine when you're not. It's agonizing to have a wife that doesn't want to talk about it. I'm a big dude, but i just want to cry right now. I've got medicine that can end this for the day, but I still have supper to cook, kids to put to bed, etc. sorry to post a crappy...

First , I'm new here, and y'all seem like a good group. I'm a rapid cycling bipolar 2 patient. I've been on meds for ten or so years, current meds are lithium, Wellbutrin, vraylar, and Xanax for sos days.i need validation: the only person (besides my psychiatrist) I feel safe to talk to on bad days is my wife, and it's hard because she's not comfortable talking about it (aren't the meds supposed to take care of that sort of stuff).
