I’m tired of pretending everything is ok

I want to just say what I think, do what I feel, and stop pretending I'm fine.  I'm rapid cycling today, and I'm exhausted.  I'm frustrated, but worst of all I'm getting worse.  It's hard to tell your kids that you're fine when you're not. It's agonizing to have a wife that doesn't want to talk about it.  I'm a big dude, but i just want to cry right now. I've got medicine that can end this for the day, but I still have supper to cook, kids to put to bed, etc.  sorry to post a crappy thread, I'm hoping for some catharsis, and especially your support.  Y'all are sort of my only outlet, and I SINCERELY appreciate it.

I know your pain. Being a parent is so hard when youre feeling depleted emotionally having a partner who is less than supportive is equally as hard. I dont know how else to support other than to say i understand what that feels like. Im tired too.

Big hug CT.... Vent vent vent... It's great that you're letting it out here..... You have a lot on your plate for the days that you feel so poorly... Your wrote that you're getting worse .. do you think that you need a med tweak?

I understand how you feel. I have to be there for my son and husband who has MS and just got out of the hospital.

When you say you have pills to end the day what do you mean?

It's hard to feel so down yet try to put on a happy face to be there for others. I'm having a hard time faking it. And today I went from happy and dancing with my son to feeling such a deep sorrow in my chest.

Sending a supportive wave your way. I often think of this place as a refuge as I prepare myself and go out to the world with my big brave face, never showing the difficult intracacies similar to what you’ve described here. Venting is good.

I’m here for you CT. This is the reason why I joined this site. I need support outside of my house. I actually just created a new social media acct referencing no more lies, just me. I feel like I’ve been lying my whole life. Lying that I’m fine, happy, and ok. I desperately need to be honest with everyone, especially myself, and tell them I’m not fine and need their help.
