  Ok my husband has been decent today... why? Yesterday he was cursing and criticizing everyone that crossed his path.  Today he didn't start drinking in the morning... he has not said ONE asshole comment yet.  Well I take that back cuz he verbally attacks me between 3-6am when I'm not fully awake.  What the fuck right?  Can you imagine sleeping peacefully then your husband starts DTing and says awful shit to you?   I've been in my relationship since I was 18. My husband is an alcoholic as were his parents and grandparents. Red flag right! Now I'm 40 and I promised myself I would be free of this negative environment and can't get enough courage to leave. My mom has watched for years,  trying to help me but I'm scared. She told me plan recently to have me involuntarily commit him to rehab. Then file for divorce. I guess I don't want to cuz I don't want to betray him. I also don't want him to be homeless...
