  I lost my wife in November 2018. It has been 1.5 years. I came here soon after and met another widow and it was a fantastic resource that helped me through an insane time, and we remain friends. Fast forward to now, and well I can give you guys some hope that I went through some major stuff - it does get better but...man it is still hard. Anyway, here I am again.   One thing I know that can drive us nuts is getting advice from others and hearing cliches. Tell us not to do this, or things will take a certain period of time or grief will come in stages.
