  Monday is the first anniversary of mom's death. A lot has happened in the last year, I miss her so much and I wish she were here to talk to or at least to hug. I'm having a REALLY hard time dealing with the reality of her being gone again. I feel guilty that I have fun sometimes or that I forget, like I haven't mourned enough which I know doesn't make sense.

  I have a blanket that my mom got for me after she and dad moved out of the country 9 years ago. When they brought it to me, she told me to wrap it around myself when I miss her and it would be like a mommy hug. It's very soft and fuzzy and warm so I use it during the winter.My boyfriend last night noticed I was hogging all the blankets on the bed and said I'd soon have to use the mommy blanket with winter coming. He didn't know the whole back story about the blanket, just that mom gave it to me...
