Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

It sounds like you NEED this bed rest so the first thing you need to do is shut off those lies like "I'm a burden to everyone (or anyone)", "I feel like a failure", or feeling responsible for your family's income or feeling like you're not doing enough for your children. No one can help what happens to their health. There is no place for guilt on you in your situation.
It might help you feel more free of depression and anxiety if you remember that you can only do what you can do. Don't let yourself accept guilt that is not yours. You CAN NOT HELP having your present health issues.
So rest and know that God is watching over you, over your husband and over your children. Thank Him for that and enjoy it.
So, to get rid of that boredom, are there any crafts that you like to do? Knitting? Crocheting? Do you like to read? Are there family and friends you can catch up with through a phone call? Can your son play on the bed next to you? Can he take his naps with you? He would probably love that bonding time.
Are there games you can play with him while you are in bed? (educational toys, reading books to him, etc.) Do you like crossword puzzles or Sudoku?
Do you like to draw or design?
All of these would help you pass the time of day.
What is working for you?
