  I was diagnosed with PTSD last week, shaming from a fatal car accident last Oct. I thank the people who helped me in my time of need back then.  I'm recently in therapy it is doing me good. I have not been able to go back to the scene at night. I know if I did I would not be able to leave till day light for fear of someone being there I don't see. Has anyone else been been in a fatal accident been back to the scene? I lay flowers during the day but I cant go there at night. Just wanted to know...

  I have acute stress disorder due to a MVA, involving a motorcycle.  I was making a left hand turn and didnt see the motorcycle and he hit my driver door and died on impact.  I was devastated and had a nervous breakdown at the scene.  I joined this group a couple of days later and the people were very nice and helpful.  I just started counseling yesterday.  I know this is something I will never forget but I'm learning to cope with what happened.   I was recently in a fatal accident and I was the driver of the vehicle that killed a  guy on a motorcycle.  I’m living a nightmare and I have for past 3days.  I was just wondering if anyone has been in this position.  I’m getting better with dealing with it because of my family and talking.  I’m worried I’m going to have flash backs. I’m on a leave of absence because of the work I do, I’m afraid of having another emotional breakdown. They told me it was ptsd.
