About Me
I am a volunteer first responder and have been for over 27 years. Events during that time exposed me to PTSD and while I never thought I had been affected it was just me denying I had a problem, which caused problems in itself. I have gone of and undertaken treatment and it has helped, but every now and again the flurry returns and I need to ground myself some how to avoid cutting of the world and my two wonderful children and all the people in my life who care about me. My wife was my support rock but with her passing (cancer) I really haven't found that special one person, but I now know that's OK it can be more than one person who knows my story.
