  Been having a dry cough, especially at night now for a few months, initially chalked it up to allergies and the fact that I smoke a little weed for chronic pain a few times a week.  I do notice some shortness of breath but usually only when I'm doing heavy lifting for extended periods of time. I quit smoking cigarettes about 7 years ago but only ever smoked off and on, half pack a day at most.  I went to my doctor today with these symptoms, she said it was probably just allergies but...

  Taking what would be considered a lot of medication for sleep for just about anyone, klonopin, seroquel and remeron.  Worked fairly well, with some bouts of insomnia here and there, up until about a month ago.  Lately I have been getting no more than 4 hours of sleep a night which is really taxing, sometimes I can't function during the day at all.  Obviously I'm afraid if I stop or attempt to taper any of the medications things will get worse.  It's almost as if I'm not tired at bedtime,...
