  I think my partner is a binge alcoholic, for the last 3 or so years he has drunk 4 bottles of wine every single weekend by himself,he stays up till 1 in the morning drinking, then there's the hangover the next day. No matter how much I tell him how upset I am about it he just continues,  he says he is sorry and will give it up but the next weekend it's still the same. He is also on anxiety/depression medication which makes it worse, I'm at the point I'm giving up and not caring anymore, what...

  My partner has changed his medication to venlafaxine, should he be drinking while on this medication and if he does what are the effects? From the information I have read he shouldn't drink at all, the drink is a real issue, he drinks at least 3/4 bottles of wine by himself every Friday Saturday night, we have argued so many times about his drinking, I'm starting to get to the point of not caring about him anymore and I don't like that feeling, it's sk hard watching the person you love not care...

  I am wondering if someone can help me, I have a partner that has anxiety/depression, there seems to be numerous support groups for those that have anxiety/depression but nothing for the family members. Has anyone got any recommendations for a group in the wellington area? Sometimes I feel like just giving up on the relationship cause it just seems too hard as I have no support
