  I have been posting here for the past month or so. Long story short, I met a guy online years ago and I finally moved out of state to be with him. He ended up being abusive in every way.   Well, I did it!! I got on the plane and left! I am safe back home. I thought I would be so heart broken and I was terrified to leave him!! Then something odd happened to me, I am actually happy! I'm so happy that I could cry not tears of pain but, JOY! It feels so good not go be criticized, put down, called names, hurt, etc. He still texts and calls me and it makes me cringe when he does.   Tomorrow is my flight back home. I feel so sad. I'm going through so many different emotions. Idk what to do. I know I'm going home but, I'm so scared to be without him. I have anxiety when I'm in public without him. I'm not use to being alone and having to just make decisions alone. All I want to do is be happy with him again...but, how can I when all we do is fight... I wish there wasn't any abuse. I wish we were happy...I wish we wouldn't have to be alone again.

  It's Wednesday night and I can't sleep. I leave in two days. I am very sad inside about everything. I do love him very much through it all but, it's best I leave. He keeps saying things like "what a waste of time for you to leave when you know you will be back soon." I hate when he says things like that.   I'm so disappointed in myself. I was supposed to be on a plane back home two days ago. I don't know why I am so scared to leave. Why do I always give in to his apologies,gifts and empty promises? I don't understand. Inside I'm screaming at myself that I need to get out. I want to get out. A part of me wants to believe that we can work and that I didn't waste years of my life. Everything I have been through with this man...all for nothing. No more excuses. I need to just book my flight again...

  So, I was supposed to leave on the 30th of this month. As much as I can't stand this sick bastard that I was with, I pushed the date back to Sept.7th. I really thought about how much I gave up for this peice of garbage and how I would hate myself even more if I didn't wait to transfer stores or at least give my job notice enough to leave.
