  Sometimes I feel so dark. So empty. It hurts. I wonder what is the point. I feel as though I am floating through space towards a dark void. Id rather jump in then keep swirling around waiting.   I am having a hard time. I try to explain my mental illness to my boyfriend he doesnt get it. Im not suicidal right now but I just feel like theres no point. I wish I would just die. I have been sober for over 18 months and thats definitely helped but hasnt fixed it. I take Lamictal and Prozac. And still feel this way. I get manic (very breifly) and then I crash down into depression and cant get back up. I feel crazy. My boyfriend tells me its my mindset or maybe I shouldnt be taking these...

  This past weekend my sister got married. I had just got 11 months sobriety but still am not too comfortable around alcohol. I went to the rehearsal dinner spent the day with the brides maids then was there for the ceremony. After that I had to leave I wasn't able to stay for the reception. I had been around it as much as I could. And I had to choose between staying at the wedding or staying sober. I'm glad I made the right choice. My sister is upset with me. But today my sobriety comes first if...

  3 years ago was there first time I was diagnosed bipolar. I have been on and off depression meds and mood stabilizers for about 7 years. I also have alcoholism and have attempted suicide 4 times. Last summer this landed me in a comma. I was put on lithium and benzos and stopped drinking but didn't improve. So I weined off both meds and focused on not drinking for a while it worked but the longer I stayed sober the crazier I got. A few nights ago I was suicidal and had a breakdown. Every time...
