  On and off... that's how my panic attacks go. I'm fine for a few weeks then out of nowhere a string of them. I have a wonderful family and a great job and I can't hold it together. I wind up a sobbing ball wishing someone would just end it for me. What kind of life is this? I can't go for more than two weeks without a breakdown. I'm a burden on my husband and parents. How is this normal? What's the point... I have a good few days/weeks but I am worrying about when the next one will hit and...

  Its been a good few days. I haven't had any hysterical crying fits in three days. I wake up every morning with anxiety. I practice some breathing and my cat sits on me (how does he know?). I continue to function.This thing seems to go in cycles... fine for a weeks really bad for two or so . Just waiting for the next attack to come ...So how do we keep going? What makes it worth it ? I feel like a burden to my husband and parents. I would be there for them in a similar situation, but I wouldn't...

  My anxiety has been horrible in the past week. My small victory is that I haven't cried/panicked in 12 hours :) The meds are making me feel like I'm in a fog . Docs are trying new things. I have the most amazing support system, but this is so hard. It's draining everyone me, hubs, my parents. It has to be better than this... I have hope... some. I used to be such a strong person and now I wonder wtf happened.

  Hi Everyone! I'm new to this group and somewhat the world of frequent anxiety attacks. I've had depression since I teenager but the anxiety attacks didn't start until my late 30s. Initially, I'd have an attack once every few months, then weeks, then days, then daily. About  month ago, I was sent to the emergency room and then inpatient therapy for a week. I learned some coping mechanisms and had my drugs changed. After being home for three weeks, the attacks came back. Now I am learning how to...
