  I am newly divorced and ordinarily I am fine with everything. My ex-husband and I decided to divorce September 2016 and we took it slow to make sure we did everything right for the kids.   Not sure how I'm feeling today. I finally told my best friend of 25 years that I am divorced. She was definitely shocked but she handled it quite well. She asked plenty of questions to get some clarity and then we went back to our normal bull$#itting telephone time. My kids are with their dad this weekend so I have this giant house all to myself. That's not entirely true...I currently have custody of our dogs and my daughters guinea pigs are permenant residents. But as for fur-less occupants,...

  Today I received a letter in the mail that was vague and confusing. It had one sentence that basically stated on 3/31/17 the judge ruled dissolution. So apparently I've been divorced for five days but I only found out today. I don't know what to feel about it. In one way I'm indifferent but in another way I feel very emotional.   The last two days have been emotionally charged for me. I tend to be a closed in person to the people in my life. No one really knows how I'm feeling because I am really good at smiling my way through life. Actually while having a conversation with another mom at my sons school today I was told I must generally be happy because I am always a delight to have around and I never seem angry. I was told this on a day where I am feeling so sad on the inside. I must have a really (I mean REALLY) good...
