  I made contact with a local PTSD now buddy that is also veteran. I called him threw a referral from my mom who knows him threw either a 12 step group or maybe her church. We talked and he shared with me his work with comfort dogs and some of his knowledge of PSTD and manifestations awareness. It's a relief to start building a real local support network. I am also communicating the best I can where appropriate to friends and family. doing ok.. getting a lot of answers to long standing questions...

  I'm learning how my PTSD can lead to triggers and create symptoms that appear to be other disorders but could simply be a manifestation of PTSD. constant vigil / constant watch

  I was diagnosed with PTSD 25 years ago after childhood trauma and then military non combat service. The Doctor that diagnosed me was helping me stay sober and above ground at the time. I have been clean and sober 28 years now. This man may have saved my life. He was a big help to me.

  Hello, I just now and becoming fully accepting of my Asbergers Syndrome. I started to realize I was a bit different about 10 years ago and 5 years ago I really noticed some major differences in my fellow coworkers and I. I have a lot of problems with relationships, family, intimate and friendships. My co-worker relationships are better becuse i just try harder but I also have my difficulties there as well.
