I made contact with a local PTSD now buddy that is also veteran. I called him threw a referral from my mom who knows him threw either a 12 step group or maybe her church. We talked and he shared with me his work with comfort dogs and some of his knowledge of PSTD and manifestations awareness. It's a relief to start building a real local support network. I am also communicating the best I can where appropriate to friends and family. doing ok.. getting a lot of answers to long standing questions about myself. Learning..
