Hi I am waiting for my August AF and then were underway for our 1st cycle of IVF.....scary, exciting!
Anyone else with me??

Were doing a blastocyst transfer does anyone know what that means?
like whats the option other than that and why would they pick this option??

Beta today, BFN

I was looking online and it was suggested in a sociology paper that women who undergo IF treatment may suffer from Post Dramatic Stress Syndrome. After a IVF BFN, I can agree. How do you recover? I already deleted my FB app so I don't have to see any birth/pregnancy announcements anytime soon. We are so devastated.

Bryn- so sorry about your BFN. I agree that women can and do have PTSD after they get the BFN. I have had two BFNs so far. Hang in there! We will all get our miracle.

I start my Lupron today :)) then wait for AF. Looking at transfer around this time next month! Yay! Finally feel like I'm back in the game.. Nedico, I think we are cycle buddies!! :)

I'm so sorry Bryn...I know how you feel. It's only been a week since my BFN and I still feel like my world is going to end, and on the verge of tears all the time. But we will get through, because we are survivors. We have to be in order to even make it this far. Hugs!

I'm so sorry, Bryn. I totally feel for you (and with you). I feel like I suffer from PTSD after two failed treatments. I'm terrified to start #3 in September.

Georgelake, I am on day 2 of Lupron I think, its called Buserelin here, my RE says its to down reg all my hormones, effectively make me menopausal, They anticipate egg collect the week of the 16th of September! Does that make us cycle buddies?? Yay!

I started my Lupron the 23rd :) so we are even taking meds the same days so far! Yay!!! :) the only side effect I have had is a little redness at my injection site. How's your cycle doing? I'm looking at mid-September too for transfer. This is a frozen cycle for me though.

I am back from 'vacation' and ready to officially start my cycle. I started lupron on the 29th. Suppression check on the 6th and I start stims if all checks out. Estimated retrieval in the 17th. So I will be cycling right on schedule with you, Nedico.
