We just finished our very first IVF cycle and did a 5 day transfer. The actual process wasn't too bad. I had a bad reaction to the doxy and victoin which made me very sick for a couple days, but that is not normal, and was completely unexpected by everyone. We did our transfer yesterday and it was the neatest thing to watch. We ended up being able to transfer two grade 2 embryos using ICSI. We are being cautiously optimistic. The entire cycle went flawlessly, which is a little intimidating as weird as it sounds. We were lucky enough to have 2 more really good embryos to freeze which is a serious added bonus. Very thankful for the entire opportunity lol. I have never prayed so much in my life :-). Best of luck to everyone!

Well, I'm officially cancelled. Stupid lining only went up from a 6.3 to a 6.5. Doc also saw some abnormalities and wants to do a D&C next week. Looks like I'll be back in October if all goes well. Good luck to all the Aug/Sept ladies! I'll be cheering you on from the sideline!

So sorry Jat have seen the tern D and C a lot, do you mind me asking what this is??

I am only due to start my injections on the 22nd this month so by the time i'm at egg retreival it will be after the 16th of September, this whole thing is such a learning curve, everytime I go to an apptment I figure out a little bit more about whats coming.

does anybody know what the time difference can be when taking your progesterone shots? For example I normally take my shot at 7 but I have a meeting tonight so how early or how late can I take it?thanks for your help!

in case anybody's wondering I called my doctor's office and the answer is 2 hours either way.

Good to know Lizzy. I do mine in the morning and on weekdays I do it at 6am sharp, but on the weekends I might sleep in and do it at 8ish.

Beta tomorrow. I'm 11dp3dt and I got a BFN on a HPT this morning. I've been spotting for 3 days and I'm feeling like this is a failure.

So when your nurse calls with the beta results did you or so you plan on answering?
I'm thinking of letting it go to voicemail and waiting till I'm home with DH so I can cry my eyes out in the privacy of my home.
